Description
Sirio
The Sirio ProCut is a dynamic industrial horizontal miter saw engineered for extreme-angle precision. Featuring a horizontal stroke from the back and a pusher-style infeed, it supports adjustable miter cuts ranging from –22.5° to 157.5°. Pneumatic angle setting offers rapid configuration for common angles (45°, 90°, 135°), while a manual stop allows fine-tuning for intermediate angles. Safety is prioritized through two-hand operator controls and a full surrounding cut-area hood with a viewing window.
Sirio: the base machine
The Sirio is an industrial horizontal miter saw built for extreme-angle precision. It runs as a standalone cutting station: the operator loads and positions material, and the saw delivers the cut quality Joseph Machine saws are specified for.
It suits operations cutting varied work where batch sizes do not yet justify an automated infeed, and shops that want Joseph cut quality in a smaller footprint and budget.
Moving up to the ProCut
The same saw is available as the Sirio ProCut, paired with a servo-controlled infeed pusher and light curtain guarding. That unlocks unattended stick running and the tail-end recovery features in JMCSaw.
The Sirio cannot be field-upgraded to a ProCut later. The infeed pusher, its servo control and the light curtain guarding are designed into the machine, not added to it. If automated stick running is where your volumes are heading, specify the ProCut at purchase.
Key Benefits of the Sirio
- Wide-Angle Versatility — Cuts from –22.5° to 157.5°, so one manually operated machine covers the awkward angles that would otherwise need a second saw.
- Fast Setup for Common Angles — Pneumatic presets for 45°, 90° and 135° mean an operator changes angle in seconds rather than dialling it in.
- Fine-Tuned Flexibility — Manual single-stop adjustment gives the operator direct control over intermediate angles, which is what you want on short runs and one-offs.
- Enhanced Operator Safety — Two-hand safety controls and a full-area safety hood with viewing window protect operators during use.
- Robust Construction — Built for heavy-duty operation with an ergonomic working height and durable powder-coated steel frame.
- Predictable Output — Cycle time is set by the operator rather than a program, so short, varied runs do not carry the setup overhead of an automated line.

Output Examples of the Sirio
- Architectural Trims & Specialty Profiles – Precision cuts at unconventional angles, set by hand for jobs that never repeat the same way twice
- Custom Frame Fabrication – Bespoke window, door, and panel frames requiring non-standard miter angles
- Facade and Curtain Wall Components – Atypical angle cuts for innovative façade installations
- Data Center Enclosures – Angled aluminum or steel components for containment structures and cable alley systems
- Furniture & Display Structures – Complex miters for ornamental and architectural elements in furnishings or exhibits
- Renewable Energy Assemblies – Angled supports for solar tracking systems and module mounting
Use Cases of the Sirio
- Custom Mitered Construction – Non-standard angles in architectural and decorative build-outs, where every job differs and batch sizes are small
- Specialty Fenestration – One-off and low-volume miter requests in high-design door and window work that would tie up an automated line
- Data Center Infrastructure – Angled extrusions for containment, framing and cable management, typically ordered project by project
- Custom Display Fabrication – Angled components for point-of-sale displays or modular exhibition booths
- Renewable Energy Structures – Angled support profiles for solar racking and energy-efficient assemblies
