We realize the importance of having a professional, knowledgeable service staff equipped with the tools and technology to support you long after the purchase of new equipment. Our machines are built to last and our service department will be there with you every step of the way.

Spare Parts

When it comes to parts, our Parts Department guru, Paul Malloy, has the solution. Our customers turn to Paul for parts common and obscure. With the barest of descriptions, Paul can identify and lay his hands on the exact part required.

In addition, our production specialists can make ANY part a customer needs right in our plant, which means no costly delays to order from third-party facilities.

Most of our stocked parts can be shipped out on the same day we receive the order. For those parts that need to be fabricated, orders can usually be completed in 2-3 days.

Preventative maintenance

Protect your investment and productivity by having Joseph Machine Company organize a preventative maintenance program for you.

JMC Preventative Maintenance service is a complete inspection of the machine for the traditional lubrication and wear and tear items, but also includes an overall health and performance check of the machine. Our trained technicians will assess part quality and throughput/takt times and compare results to when the machine was new. A report of findings will be generated and recommendations will be made to address any shortcomings. Service includes, but is not limited to the following;

1. All Lubrication delivery systems/grease points checked and filled

2. Inspect for Hydraulic/Pneumatic leaks

3. Inspection of all mechanical systems for wear and accuracy

4. Check Servo system and inductive motors efficiency

5. Perform Throughput/Takt time study

6. Maintenance and Operator refresher training

7. Verify machine calibration

8. Check for proper air and power

9. Inspect tooling

10. Review Spare parts needs

11. Review down time reports

12. Check optimizer/Look ahead functionality (where applicable)

  • Clean machine thoroughly
  • Check functionality of machine through HMI
  • Ensure integrity of incoming power
  • Inspect all airlines for leaks
  • Drain air tank (for water)
  • Grease and inspect pusher for proper operations
  • Inspect and adjust air tool oiler
  • Clean and inspect all filters
  • Inspect and adjust self-oiling system
  • Change paper filters for ION system, cooling fan filters and hydraulic filters
  • Inspect ballscrews
  • Manually inspect and operation of clamps
  • Check for proper operation of clamps
  • Grease/Lubricate drive chains
  • Inspect/Lubricate counter weight system on vertical welder
  • Verify calibrations on machine
  • Level and realign machine
  • Check and/or perform servo tune on pusher
