ASTRA
The ASTRA is a compact, variable-angle up-cut saw engineered for precise cutting of small-to-medium profile extrusions. It handles profiles up to 3.5″ x 4.25″ at 90° and 2.75″ x 3.25″ at 45°, making it ideal for detailed, high-finish work. Equipped with a 13.75″–15.75″ blade driven by a 1.5 hp, 2800 RPM motor, it delivers smooth, clean cuts with adjustable blade depth for optimized material processing. Pneumatic clamps securely hold material in place, and the integrated safety hood protects operators during operation. When paired with the Joseph jStop Computerized End Stop, the ASTRA gains automated, repeatable length positioning—allowing for efficient, high-accuracy production runs without a pusher system, even for smaller profiles that require delicate handling.
