Description
BOLERO 4 and 5 Axis
The BOLERO 5 is a robust 4- or 5-axis CNC machining center engineered for high-speed, precision processing of aluminum, steel, light alloys, and PVC. Crafted on a reinforced gantry-style welded steel base, it features a bi-rotational head: Axis C offers ±320° continuous rotation, with Axis A interpolated up to ±135°. A light curtain supports safe pendulum mode operations over two fields. Tooling includes 12-tool automatic changer, plus one slot for a 500 mm saw blade. Material hold-down is handled by 8 pneumatic, CN-controlled clamps, and it runs on the HICAM 2 software interface, complete with ISOFILE upload and direct program execution. Standard features include brushless servo motors, precision ball screws, micro-droplet oil lubrication, Wi-Fi, and Industry 4.0–ready OSAI control.
Key Benefits of the BOLERO 4 and 5 Axis
- Bi-Rotational Cutting Head — Enables complex multi-axis machining (A and C axes), even on long profiles.
- Fast, Automated Tool Handling — 12-position tool changer with saw blade slot keeps production moving.
- Secure, Multi-Point Clamping — 8 pneumatic clamps reduce cycle times and hold accuracy on long workpieces.
- Smart, User-Friendly Software — HICAM 2 lets operators upload ISO files directly and execute jobs.
- Rigid Gantry Stability — Heavy-duty structure minimizes vibration for tight tolerances.
- Industry‑Ready Control Systems — Brushless motors, precision ball screws, and micro-lubrication ensure consistent accuracy and maintenance ease.
Output Examples of the BOLERO 4 and 5 Axis
- Curtain Wall & Storefront Profiles — Machined ends, pockets, and tapers on 4-axis extrusions.
- Window & Door Fabrication — Precision drilling, milling, and routing in a single setup.
- Architectural Trim & Assemblies — Complex joinery, keyways, and slotting on light alloy components.
- Data Center Equipment — Custom-machined brackets, rails, and cable supports from aluminum or steel.
- Transportation Frames — Rail and bus extrusions with complex end features.
